The Czech National Bank has issued the eighth gold coin from the Urban Monument Reserves series. Its theme is the town of Moravská Třebová.
The coin is minted from 999.9 gold and is issued in two versions, regular and proof, which differ in surface finish and edge design.
In the top-grade coins, the field of the coin is highly polished and the relief is frosted, while the edge is smooth.
Regular quality coins have a scalloped edge.
The obverse of the design shows the front of the town hall building and the tower of the Renaissance castle in the background, including the arcades in its courtyard.
On the reverse side is a collage of Gothic and Renaissance townhouses with a unique bay window from 1589, a silhouette of the tower of the Baroque Church of the Assumption, a fountain in the castle courtyard and a plague column from 1718.
Each coin is accompanied by a catalogue card with a description of the coin and its sculptural representation.
The coin is stored in a red case.
