The silver koala is one of the most popular collector coins, and the Perth Mint began production in 2007.

The motif is a koala bear, and the reverse design changes each year - but there is always a koala depicted along with weight, purity and this year the mint mark "P125" marking the 125th anniversary of the Perth Mint.

The obverse of the coin features the likeness of His Majesty King Charles III's Dan Thorne and the monetary denomination.

Each coin comes in a protective plastic capsule.
