The 200 crown is minted from an alloy containing 925 parts silver and 75 parts copper and is issued in two versions, the standard STANDARD and the top PROOF, which is different in surface finish and edge design.

STANDARD quality coins have a scalloped edge.

The design by academic sculptor Zbyněk Fojtů won the art competition of the Czech National Bank, who divided the image of Komenský's map evenly on both sides of the coin. The expert jury appreciated in particular the perfect representation of the city headlands in the map header, which offer a view of Polná, Olomouc, Brno and Znojmo.

On the obverse of the bicentenary is the stylized upper left part of Komenský's map of Moravia. The text "CZECH REPUBLIC" with the denomination and the abbreviation of the monetary unit "200 CZK" is in the description near the left edge of the coin. The text 'CZECH REPUBLIC' is separated from the face value by the '○' mark. The Czech Mint's mark consisting of the letters 'Č' and 'M' is to the right of the text 'REPUBLIKA'.

On the reverse side of the bicentenary there is a stylised upper right part of Comenius' map of Moravia. The text 'KOMENSKÉ'S MAP OF MORAVIA' is in the description at the right edge of the coin. To the right of the map is the vertical text "1624 - 2024". The initials of the author of the coin, academic sculptor Zbyněk Fojtů, which are formed by the composition of the letters "F" and "Z", are at the lower right edge of the map.

Each coin is accompanied by a yellow catalogue card with a description of the coin and its plastic representation.
