The silver coin of the Czech National Bank with a face value of CZK 200 commemorates the 100th anniversary of the start of regular broadcasting of Czechoslovak Radio.

Experiments with radio broadcasting were already taking place on Czechoslovak territory before the First World War. The first radio programme, which consisted of words and music, was broadcast on 28 October 1919 from the radio telegraph station at the Petřín tower. Four years later, on 18 May 1923, a regular radio broadcast was launched in Kbely. Czechoslovakia was only the second country in Europe, after Great Britain, where such a thing had been achieved.

On the obverse of the bicentenary there is a radio microphone, with one transmitting mast to the left of it and two transmitting masts to the right of it, from which the radio waves emanate in a stylized manner. In the background in the lower right part of the coin is the historic building of the Kbely broadcasting station. The text 'CZECH REPUBLIC' in an incomplete description appears around the perimeter at the bottom edge of the coin. The denomination with the abbreviation of the monetary unit '200 CZK' is placed at the bottom of the coin. The Czech Mint mark consisting of the letters 'Č' and 'M' is located at the right edge of the coin. On the reverse side of the bicentennial is a historical tent, which is associated with the beginnings of radio broadcasting. Behind the tent is a broadcasting mast and the tent is partially covered with the historical logo of Czechoslovak Radio from 1991 in the left part. The texts "ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ ROZHLAS" and "1923-2023" can be found in the description around the perimeter of the coin. Initials of the author of the coin Mgr. Marie Šeborová, which are made up of a composition of the letters "M" and "Š", are placed next to the tent at the right edge of the coin.

Coins of normal quality have a scalloped edge.

Each coin is accompanied by a catalogue card in dark purple colour, which contains a description of the coin and its plastic representation.
