The 200 crown is minted from an alloy containing 925 parts silver and 75 parts copper and is issued in two versions, the standard STANDARD and the top PROOF, which is different in surface finish and edge design.
STANDARD quality coins have a scalloped edge.
The design of the commemorative coin is based on the artwork by the academic sculptor Zbyněk Fojtů. The expert committee of the Czech National Bank appreciated especially "the quality portrait of Karel Škréta and the detailed rendering of the image of the Holy Family with the motif of the three saints St. Barbara, St. Catherine and St. Dorothy."
On the obverse side of the bicrown are depicted St. Barbara, St. Catherine and St. Dorothy from the painting The Holy Family by Karel Škréta. At the upper edge of the coin, the text 'CZECH REPUBLIC' and the denomination of the monetary unit abbreviation '200 CZK' are separated by a mark in the shape of '○'. The mark of the Czech Mint, consisting of the letters 'Č' and 'M', is placed at the lower left edge of the coin.
The reverse side of the coin features a self-portrait of Karel Škréta. The description at the bottom edge of the coin contains the texts '○ KAREL ŠKRÉTA', '1674 ○ 2024' and the initials of the author of the coin, the academic sculptor Zbyněk Fojtů, which are formed by a composition of the letters 'F' and 'Z'.
Each coin is accompanied by a pink catalogue card with a description of the coin and its plastic representation.
