On 21 August 2024, the Czech National Bank is putting into circulation a CZK 100 commemorative silver coin depicting the Security Information Service (BIS) from the series Institutions of the Czech Republic. from the Institutions of the Czech Republic cycle.
The coin is minted from an alloy containing 925 parts silver and 75 parts copper and is issued only in proof quality. Proof-quality coins have a highly polished field, a matt relief and a plain edge. The coin is 29 mm in diameter, weighs 9 g and is 1.8 mm thick.
The obverse side is dominated by the emblem of the Security Information Service, which is formed by a large state emblem placed on the chest of the eagle. And further texts ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA, 100 Kč, 2024.
