On 27 March 2024, the Czech National Bank is putting into circulation a CZK 100 commemorative silver coin depicting the Prosecutor General’s Office from the Institutions of the Czech Republic cycle.
The coin is minted from an alloy containing 925 parts silver and 75 parts copper and is issued only in proof quality. Proof-quality coins have a highly polished field, a matt relief and a plain edge. The coin is 29 mm in diameter, weighs 9 g and is 1.8 mm thick.
The reverse side of the coin, which is the work of academic sculptor Zbyněk Fojtů, presents the logo of the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office and symbols of justice in the form of a sword and scales.
The obverse side is dominated by the large state emblem of the Czech Republic. The texts on both sides state NEJVYŠŠÍ STÁTNÍ ZATUPITELSTVÍ, ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA, 100 Kč, 2024.
Each coin comes with a white catalogue card containing a description and the relief of the coin.
